Established by Margaret Crain in memory of Irene MacAllister MacRae, B.A. 1914, who was vice-president of the Mathematics Club while at Â鶹¹ÙÍø's. Irene was one of the first two women to graduate from Â鶹¹ÙÍø's in honours mathematics and physics. She was active on the executive of the YWCA during her years at Â鶹¹ÙÍø's. Her five children graduated from Â鶹¹ÙÍø's as did several of her grand and great grandchildren.
