Black Light, presented through the Yellow House Student Centre for Equity and Inclusion‘s Black at Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s program, collaborates with The Studio, Agnes’s artist led workshop series that invites participants to meet innovative practicing artists from Kingston and across Canada, to learn about their creative practices and make art together.
Artist Jarena Lee will support participants in creating their own unique textile portraits using a mix of materials. All materials will be provided, and participants are also welcome to bring meaningful personal textiles to incorporate into their work.
This workshop brings together Black community to build community and find a sense of belonging at Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s and in Kingston.
