Virtual Reality has come to Environmental Studies at !
Students in Professor Hall’s 4th year Watershed class were immersed in a virtual river to practice field techniques used to measure water flow in the environment. They then applied these skills in the field to assess a real river.
What’s the benefit of this?
Putting real-life skills to the test while maximizing training time in an exciting and innovative way.
Thank you to the School of Environmental Studies, the Â鶹¹Ù꿉۪s Engineering Teaching and Learning Team, and the Mirauda Team at Università degli Studi della Basilicata for their support in making this a reality.
