Multicultural Potluck

For many of us, food carries stories. It can remind us of home, family traditions, celebrations, places where we have lived, or people who are important to us. This lunch is a chance to share those flavours and stories while connecting with colleagues across our international community.

We invite attendants to contribute a dish – something from your culture or country, a family favourite, or simply something you enjoy sharing with others. Homemade and store-bought items are both welcome.

Bringing a dish? .

Not able to bring something? Please feel free to come and join us anyway! You are welcome to bring your own lunch and enjoy the conversation and community.

If you are bringing food to share, please:

  • Add your dish to the sign-up so we have an idea of what will be available.
  • Label your item with the name of the dish and any common allergens or dietary information you are aware of.
  • Bring any serving utensils your dish requires.
  • Feel free to include the country, culture, tradition, or story connected to your dish if you would like to share it with the group.
  • Bring your item to the Seminar Room before noon if you would like to drop it off early. (The room will be open as of 11:30 am)

Please keep in mind that this is a shared potluck environment. While we will encourage participants to identify common allergens and ingredients where possible, we cannot guarantee that foods have been prepared in allergen-free environments.

Come hungry for food, conversation, and connection. We look forward to sharing lunch and celebrating the cultures and traditions that make our QGC community so special.
