Research Projects Advisors

Research Projects Advisors (RPAs) provide tailored, program or discipline-specific support to researchers for developing competitive and sustainable, well-funded research programs. As an essential first point of contact, RPAs engage with researchers to explore their research program goals, discuss funding strategies, identify relevant opportunities, and clarify funding guidelines.

They offer thorough content and administrative reviews of grant applications, ensuring alignment with reviewer expectations, agency requirements and Â鶹¹Ù꿉۪s policies; they help researchers align research proposals with institutional priorities and strengths, and in some cases may support researchers from project conception to funding close-out , for example, in meeting reporting and budgetary requirements.

By providing expert feedback, RPAs strengthen clarity, consistency, and overall quality of proposals. They coordinate institutional approvals, draft institutional letters of support, and liaise with stakeholder campus units and funding agencies, as needed.

In addition to one-on-one support, RPAs host workshops, panel discussions, and bootcamps to prepare researchers for major Tri-Agency competitions and other strategic opportunities.
