Acclaimed printmaker J. C. Heywood died on 1 December 2022 in Montreal at age 81. From 1976 until his retirement in 2006, Professor Carl Heywood taught printmaking to �鶹����'s students in the Bachelor of Fine Art program. He combined modesty with supreme assurance in the mastery of his technique. His gifts as a born communicator together with his great generosity of spirit endeared him to colleagues and aspiring artists at �鶹����'s.

A �鶹����'s milestone: Professor Gauvin Bailey, Professor Matthew Reeve, and Emeritus Professor Pierre Du Preyare all contributors to the , the two-volume magnum opus just published by Cambridge University Press (Cambridge: CUP, 2023).

This month in Lagos, Nigeria, Art History Professor Juliana Bevilacqua led a training session for museum professionals, sponsored by the International Council for Museums (ICOM), the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art, the Pan-Atlantic University, and ICOM Nigeria, with support of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Smithsonian Institution

As part of The Churches Conservation Trust's Free Lunchtime Lectures series, Prof. Cathleen Hoeniger gave a talk centred on the preservation of historic Italian churches during World War Two. Titled "The Struggle to Preserve Italy’s Early Churches during World War Two", Prof. Hoeniger focuses on the preservation process of specific churches, including establishing anti-aerial protection for the buildings and their art, and the first steps of care for churches that had been damaged.
