The union representing Canada Post workers is in a legal strike position as of Nov. 15. 

The Crown corporation warns a potential strike will further impact its already dire financial situation, while the union says despite talks beginning almost a year ago, the parties remain far apart on many issues, including wage increases, pensions, and medical leave.
